THE WHAT-EMULATOR-TO-USE-AND-HOW-TO-USE-IT SECTION

This section is supposed to point you to what emulator to use for the Miner Willy games, and how to get the games going... Even though the emulators described below are for the PC, you will find useful information for running the games on other-than-pc-emulators as well... Remember: The emulators listed below are just the ones I have tried with most success on my computer (a Pentium II 400mhz with Windows 98) There might (of course) be emulators better suited for you and your system...

Select your platform:

Quick start:

Not today...

Use 'Fellow' (Dos) for superior sound

Use 'WinUAE' (Windows) (superior in any other way)

Visit THE PC-Amiga Page and Download "WB+P96 Dir", for a good start.

Quick start:

Press 'F6' to select disk image

Type 'CAT' for disk directory

Type 'LOAD "filename" ' to load game

Well, just place the disk-image in the 'Stfiles' directory and click on it's icon when Pacifist is ready...

Choose Disk Drives from the Atari-section of the menu bar and select your disk image

Choose Reboot from the Atari-section of the menu bar to start the game

Select 'Load Disc 0' from the File menu and select your ssd-image

Type '*RUN D.MANIC' to load MM or 'CH. "H.JETSET"' for JSW

Quick start:

Put the 'cas'-files in the "t3.exe"-directory and load emulator...

To load MANIC MINER (Cracked version):

Type 'CLOADM' then type 'manic' in the upcoming 'Input Filename'-dialogue box.

Then Type 'miner' in the next dialogue box.

To load JET SET WILLY (Cracked version):

Type 'CLOADM' then type 'jswplus' in the upcoming 'Input Filename'-dialogue box.

Press 'P' to end the editor and load the game.

Then Type 'jswplay' in dialogue box number two.
P.S. If the game acts kinda jerky try 'ALT'+'Q' (to disable le sound)

Quick start:
Ok, since explaining how to make a msx-floppy will take up too much space I have put together a disk image containing Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy and Jet Set Willy 2:DOWNLOAD! (336Kb)

Place the dsk-file in the same directory as the execute-file

At the command line type 'msx.exe -msx2 -diska mmjsw2.dsk' and 'ENTER'

To load Manic Miner type 'load "MINER.BAS",r '

To load Jet Set Willy type 'load "JETSET.BAS",r '

To load Jet Set Willy2 type 'load "JETSET2.BAS",r '

Put the 'Manic.TAP'-file in the same directory as 'Euphoric.exe'

Type 'CLOAD "manic" ' to load and run the game

You'll have to configure the emulator to fit your computer I'm afraid..

Select 'Run DevKit'

Select 'Load exe' to select your MM-file
